In a detaile study, the BARC Institute examined a total of five software manufacturers and their products for creating and managing electronic files in detail. One of the reasons for the result is that windream uses state-of-the-art web technologies for the further development of its product portfolio.
The BARC analysts' assessment therefore also expresses that the extension of the portfolio by the new windream web solution results in a new functional and optical way of working. This in turn leads to a very high user satisfaction, since the solution is extremely easy to use and fully concentrates on those functions which users need for the daily handling of files and the documents contained in them.

Also, the BARC analysts concluded that windream is and remains one of those German manufacturers of Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECMS), which are among the frontunners of the ECM market and its submarkets with their innovations and solutions. National and international companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that use windream confirmed this with their positive feedback.
windream achieved a total of more than 1,500 points in the BARC study on the E-File, which resulted from the evaluation of a multitude of test criteria. A "100 percent evaluation" for the windream file management solution was awarded in a total of seven categories: Support, Updates, Architecture, Documents, Integration SAP, Offline Client as well as Role and Rights Model. In another five disciplines, the maximum result was only barely missed, and in some cases windream’s rating was still ahead of the competitors' results. Overall, the solutions of the other participants in the BARC assessment were clearly outdone.
